WELCOME TO SIVANGINEE INSTITUTE OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT

The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India is working for the Rights and Empowerment of the persons with Disabilities, through its National Institutes, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and various other organizations, situated all over the country that functions, by evolving service delivery models, conducting awareness, sensitization, Human Resource Development (HRD) programs, Research & Development, providing assistive devices and livelihood for Persons with Disabilities. Some Institutes that were started earlier, were working for the Persons with Disabilities of different individual categories (single disabilities).

Mission

To provide need based comprehensive rehabilitation through team approach faciliating inclusion, ensureing empowerment of children with multiple Disabilities and their families and by substantiating field based research and development of human resources.

VISSION

The children with multiple Disabilities have equal rights to lead a better quality of life.This may be enabled with committed professionlism,accessible enviroment,equal opportunities,positive attitudes and appropriate,affordable,acceptable and available technological interventions.

VALUE STATEMENT

Promoting quality of life for persons with multiple Disabilities, through equal participation of clients, families, professionals and agencies.

OBJECTIVES

The objects of the organization are in general to work for social justice , human dignity and gender equalityt especially for the physically and mentally challenged children and particular to build up an institutional base for improving the condition of these types of children and also-

To set up an institution for physically and mentally challenged children.
To address all foems of violation of human rights and specially violation of the rights of the physically and mentally challenged children.
To take up training for social and mental development of these children through appropriate programme.
